the baby

he does this every morning when we're first waking up. this time, it's late in the day and he's tired....

where did he go?

friday afternoon i realized it was kind of quiet. the boy wasn't sleeping on his pillow or the couch or by my feet. he wasn't busy chewing his bone or chasing the tennis ball.
i thought "oh no, he's probably in the bathroom. i hope he's going on a wee pad."
i grabbed the camera and discovered he was in the bathroom, but on a wee pad he was not:

he was having an off day....instead of catching the ball, he kept hitting it with his nose, making it fly off the bed.

on his momma's lap...

he still sits on my lap a couple times during the work day. that means a couple times a day i'm using the photo booth app. here's a selection of some of the cutest pics of the boy from the mac.

little dog, big bone

hilarious, adorable, a little disgusting, but it keeps him entertained forever. he's tenacious and easily amused, just like his mom!

second date

she, izzy, a full daschund, had tito whipped! he loved her. he even tried to "go there" a couple of times but he kept it respectful in the end. such a gentleman!
this was also tito's first trip to brooklyn, mccarren park specifically.

first date

tito's first date. she, sadie a three-month-old lemon beagle, wasn't his type. more of a sisterly relationship between these two. i think she's precious.

ain't too proud to beg

somewhere along the way to his new life with us, he realized that being super cute would result in good things. that still applies.

are you done working yet? - Tito

sometimes he just sits calmly, staring at me. i believe he is asking, "are you done working yet?"

also, please note his pillow sitting on top of his little bed. i didn't put it there. nick didn't put it there. looks like some body likes extra cushion comfort.

working from home with tito.

since i work from home, tito has the luxury to nap on my lap during the day. he's getting better about playing on his own while i'm home, but for the most part he just wants to be on or next to me (including trips to the bathroom. sucio).
when he's done playing, this is what he does:
1. stands next to my chair and stares at me
2. props himself up on the chair and waits for me to pick him up like a baby
3. now on the pillow on my lap, he wraps his arm around my neck and goes nuts trying to lick as much of my face as possible.
4. settles in and falls asleep

he does this same routine when nick gets home, but that takes place on the couch instead. he's insane.
