and at the end of the afternoon he was soooo tired. he slept like this on me on the couch for awhile.

we walked from home, down to the seaport, along the water to the staten island ferry and battery park today. check out the brooklyn bridge, seaport, water, boats, etc. in the background. it was one of the most beautiful fall days i've ever seen.

tito's not having his diet

we had to put Tito on a diet. he's about 4 pounds overweight. so we've cut his food down. three hours after breakfast today he was just sitting in the kitchen trying to get our attention. this is what ensued:

tito got some outerwear from nick's mom. unfortunately it doesn't exactly fit but we're working on that. here's tito's first time wearing his camo sweater. we'll try on the Texas Longhorns shirt tomorrow during the OU game.
also, i am not mean, Tito is like 2 lbs. overweight. Nick begs to differ.

elephant fun and random fireworks

last night, sunday, oct. 4, there was a big set of fireworks going off at the south street seaport which is 3 blocks from our apt. here's some video of tito playing with his elephant (on the bed - gross i know) and of said fireworks. enjoy.

the happiest dog in the world

took a friday off a couple of weeks back and Tito accompanied me to every errand i ran including to the salon. he had just had his nails cut so i bought him a new chew toy - a rope pink elephant. he loved it:
